The main earning opportunity that Acumen Panel offers is paid surveys. Once you become a member of their panel, you will be invited to participate in surveys from time to time.
As you can see in the image above, you will earn €1 for every 5 minutes of survey, which is a pretty good reward compared to many other survey sites.
Let me walk you through how answering surveys with Acumen Panel works.
Whenever a new survey is available, Acumen Panel will send you an invitation via email. Simply click the link provided in the email, and you’ll be directed straight to the survey. You will then first have to answer a set of qualifying questions. Survey sites do this to ensure that their survey respondents are included in the target population.
This is a way to make sure they get answers they can use. Now, if you qualify, you have to answer the actual survey. If you don’t qualify, the process stops there and you just move on to the next survey (if any).
. If you don’t qualify, you’ll get 10 Sharepoints (the currency they use). It’s a small amount, but at least you’ll get something for spending some time answering their qualifying questions. Most survey sites don’t do that.
If you can complete the actual survey, you’ll earn a certain number of points based on how long it took you to complete the survey (I’ll explain how much you can earn overall later).

Acumen Panel doesn’t explain much about their other research activities. But basically, you’ll be invited to participate in product testing or focus group activities from time to time. The invitation will also be sent via email, just like with paid surveys.
For product testing, you will usually be sent to try a product. Then, you will be asked to respond based on the questionnaire they send you.
In the case of focus groups, it usually works the same as any other focus group. You interact with the other members of the group and respond. You just need to follow the focus group leader (there will always be someone who will be there to facilitate the discussion).
Your rewards will be sent to you once the activity is successfully completed. One thing I can tell you for sure is that these activities pay significantly more than their paid surveys because they take more effort and time.
How do you get paid from Acumen Panel?
As explained above, each earning opportunity you have on Acumen Panel will earn you a certain number of Sharepoints. This is the currency they use.
Now, here’s the unusual part. Acumen Panel doesn’t have a rewards option. Instead, it has rewards that you can redeem using a partner provider called AllGift.ie.
Once you’ve accumulated at least 1,000 Sharepoints, you’ll be eligible to redeem them. At this point, a new option will be available on your Acumen Panel member dashboard.
When you’ve earned enough Sharepoints, there will now be a “Redeem my points” button on the right side of your member dashboard. Just click the button and choose the voucher amount you’d like to redeem (100 Sharepoints equals €1). Once you’ve made your choice, you’ll get your voucher code right away.
Next, head over to Allgift.ie and click on “Redeem your Voucher” located at the top right corner. Create an account (if you’re using the site for the first time) and enter the voucher code. After redeeming your voucher code, you can choose from any product, service, or gift card available on Allgifts.ie.
The process is a little longer than most survey site offers, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes relatively easy. However, this does mean that you will not be able to earn cash, as you can only get gift cards from Allgift.ie.
How to join Acumen Panel?
To register, you simply need to fill out their sign-up form and confirm your registration by clicking on the activation link sent to the email address used during sign-up.
Once you have done this, you can now log in to their site. However, keep in mind that survey invitations (and other activities) will be sent via email. So, be sure to check your email inbox regularly. Otherwise, you may miss out on the chance to earn rewards.
