Parachain Slot Duration.
For Calamari to successfully launch on Kusama, we need enough KSMs to secure a para chain slot. Calamari will charge for eight periods, each with six weeks( 48 weeks).
Lock Period.
Calamari will bid for para chain places through a crowd loan. The collective KSMs will be locked for eight periods (6 × 8 weeks) from when Calamari wins a place until the duration ends. However, the KSM will be unlocked and refunded to their initial possessors, If Calamari doesn’t win a slot.
